A Moment of Peace Means...

John: taken captive! Doesn't he look a little concerned? I think Kira lured him in there with Sheriff Woody's hat, which she never lets him play with...
Postscript: About 10 minutes after this photo was taken, I pulled the kids out for a bath. Despite just the slightest of bloody noses, John was all smiles and cried like crazy when I picked him up, so apparently he had an amazing time after all. Yes, you read that right: My son's first bloody nose took place sometime right around the taking of this picture.

Unnecessary piece of information: This is Jay writing, by the way.

  1. Be sure to pay attention to the frequency of his blinks. He may be using morse code to signal for help.

  2. Don't worry. This is definitely not your son's first bloody nose. Wait, maybe I'm thinking of a bloody lip. Either way, blood on the face isn't new territory.

  3. Remember by the time Jay was two he had been to the ER four times for stitches. And that's without an older sibling helping out. Margaret
